Individual Contribution:
I was in a group on my own so pretty much everything was my contribution. The only time I didn't do something was when I asked a friend to put the camera on a tripod for me, because I realised we needed one more person and everyone else had already been shot, so I had to run around a corner and get shot in the face. All the storyboards, costumes and probs were my idea, and all the music was my original creation using GarageBand loops and guitar.
Music Sources:
All music was original, using Copyright free audio loops from the Apple free software Garageband. The synth sounds and the heavier drums were loops, the lighter drums when the main character was on the phone was a MIDI sequence created with the Garageband drum kit and a MicroKorg MIDI controller, and the guitars were recorded via Line In with a Phonic Helix Board 18 FireWire mixer, with a Boss ML-2 Metal Core Distortion pedal.
Action/Thriller:
I decided to make my film an Action/Thriller film. Generic features of an action thriller are things such as a fast paced opening scene, usually focusing on introducing the main character on some kind of mission. The general themes of an action thrillers usually consist of: missions, killing the bad guys, chases, fast paced parts (such as in a vehicle), etc.
